This set of features was designed primarily to pull together materials from disparate sources. An artist has the ability to alter and conform these materials to a unifying standard, using them in any scene without visually jarring components.
Color Match
Color match allows artists to take color information from one image and transfer it onto the structure of another picture. This can be used for rapid look-dev iteration cycles as you update the color range of an asset with the tones and saturation values of another.
Color Muse
This node has a simple premise producing exciting results. It allows artists to take the color information from one image and transfer it into the structure of another picture. This can be used for rapid look-dev iteration cycles as you can update the color range of an asset with the tones and saturation values of another.
Color to Mask
This feature takes a single image as an input and automatically extracts masks based on color palette. It can be used to help target specific elements within a texture for color changes or other adjustments. This is particularly powerful when an image only has a few distinct colors, such as textile materials.
Additionally, it is useful to generate masks for automatic removal of elements with In-Painting.
Normal Intensity Transfer
This feature automatically groups the intensity of two different normal maps. It takes guesswork out of the equation and delivers consistent normal maps with equal intensity.
Roughness Transfer
Similar to normal intensity transfer, this node takes the roughness values of one map and places them over the values of another greyscale map. This means that a single handcrafted roughness map such as rock material, for example, can be used as a reference to imprint on all others in a scene. This guarantees that all rock values used are as harmonious as possible.
